Chemonics International Inc, a US beeed International development consulting firm, seeks the following long-term positions for the USAID Tanzanie Lishe Mtambuka Activity, also known as the Regional Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Activity. The five-year project aims to strengthen health and food market systems that promote the adoption of optimal nutrition-related behaviors across a range of stakeholders in targeted regions in Tanzania. We are currently seeking qualified professionals for the following positions:
Chemonics International Inc. seek five Nutrition Governance Officers for the USAID Lishe Mtambuka Activity in Tanzania. Chamonics is hiring five people for these long-term positions, one person will be based in each of the following five regions: Njombe, Riwa, Songs, Kigoma, and Katavi
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee council-level activities pertaining to the use of data, planning, budgeting, and delivering high quality nutrition services
• Support the raglanal govamanos coordinators to also with Local Government Authorities (LBA) Ward Development Committees, and village councils to implement planning and accountability training and supportive supervision, annual planning and budgeting, train staff on the Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Information System, and provide as-needed advocacy
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in nutrition, public health, or a related field
• Five (5) years of experience in nutrilon/public health, project/program management, or a related field
• Experience with a USAID-funded project preferred
• Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
