Job Title: Project Chef

Job Summary:
We are seeking for Chefs with a passion for Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisine to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in culinary roles, with a strong background in preparing dishes from these three cuisines.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes from Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisines according to recipes or personal judgment and experience.
• Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes meet the standards of the restaurant.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure freshness and availability of ingredients.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques and sanitation practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage food costs by controlling portion sizes and minimizing waste.
• Stay updated on current food trends and industry best practices.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Chef, preferably in a high-volume restaurant environment.
• Proven expertise in preparing authentic Indian, Chinese, and Continental dishes.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredients specific to each cuisine.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
• Formal culinary education or equivalent experience preferred.
• Food Handler’s Certificate or equivalent sanitation certification.
