JOB DETAILS:
Duties and responsibilities
• To deliver lectures and / or practical legal instructions to students;
• To guide and supervises students in building up their practical and research projects;
• To prepare learning resources and design training, exercises for students such as training manuals, simulations and cases studies;
• To conduct consultancy and community service;
• To design and review programme curriculum
• To undertake individual research and participates in scientific / academic congregations;
• To supervise field work;
• To coach junior teaching staff;
• To assume managerial leadership roles e.g. coordination of training programmes or major research projects and consultancy; and
• To perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualification and experience
• Holder of a Doctorate Degree (PhD) in Law who is a practicing advocate of not less than five years and is eligible for registration as a technical teacher with a working experience in teaching, research and consultancy of at least three years in lectureship position or equivalent in a related or allied institution and has published at least three peer reviewed papers;
OR
• Holder of a PhD Degree in Law who is a practicing advocate of not less than five years and is eligible for registration as a technical teacher and has a proven applicable working experience in research and consultancy of at least 10 years in the industry and has published at least five consultancy/research reports of the academic and professional appreciable depth in the relevant field;
