JOB DETAILS:
Rikolto in Tanzania is seeking Young Talent Professionals to support the implementation of two key projects: Vijana Kilimo Biashara (VKB) and the Joint Programme on Accelerating Progress Towards Rural Women’s Economic Empowerment (JP RWEE). The roles involve working with farmers, local partners, and stakeholders in Singida and Dodoma to provide technical assistance, coordinate field activities, and support agricultural capacity-building initiatives.

Rikolto in Tanzania is seeking Young Talent Professionals to support two key projects: Vijana Kilimo Biashara (VKB) and the Joint Programme on Accelerating Progress Towards Rural Women’s Economic Empowerment (JP RWEE). These projects focus on enhancing food productivity, reducing post-harvest losses, and increasing economic empowerment for youth and women in the regions of Singida and Dodoma.
The professionals will work closely with farmers, local partners, and stakeholders, providing technical assistance, coordinating field activities, and facilitating market linkages. Their responsibilities also include contributing to capacity-building initiatives, organizing farmer field days, and supporting data collection for project monitoring and evaluation.
Key Roles:
• Engage with sunflower and sorghum farmers, providing training on Good Agronomical Practices (GAP), post-harvest handling, and market access.
• Coordinate youth participation in agribusiness and gender inclusion activities.
• Build relationships with local government authorities and other partners to facilitate project adoption.
• Support the documentation of success stories and business case development.
