JOB DETAILS:
Haven of Peace Academy was started in 1994 by a group of missionary families. Since the first 40 primary students, the school has grown to almost 400 in grades K-12. HOPAC gained accreditation with ACSI/MSA in 2012 and is a Cambridge International Centre, offering exams in IGCSE and A Level subjects.

Job Summary
• Experienced teaching in multicultural settings
• Self-motivated, team player, adaptable and willing to learn
• International qualifications or prior teaching experience
• Committed evangelical Christian
• Fluent in English
• Familiarity with Cambridge curriculum and Google Workspace a plus

General Responsibilities
• Lead in academic advising for all senior school (high school) students and assist students with the university application process to US, Canada, UK, and international universities.

Grade Levels
• Working with High School students for university preparations

Extra-Curricular Responsibilities
• Clubs, Class Sponsorship, Service Learning, Mentoring

Qualifications
• Minimum of an undergraduate degree

Specific Skills
• Experience with academic advising and university placement systems including North America and the UK
• Experience working with TCKs preferred
• Someone who can relate to students
• Understands worldwide systems
• Highly self-motivated for time management
• Training provided if needed
