Job Description
Our esteemed client, a dedicated non-governmental organization (NGO), is actively seeking an experienced and meticulous Accountant to join their team. Committed to fostering positive community impact, the organization endeavors to enhance lives through sustainable development endeavors, educational initiatives, and social programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, ensuring meticulous financial management in alignment with regulatory standards. This pivotal role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the organization's mission-driven objectives, fostering meaningful change within the region.

Responsibility:
• Financial Management
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Monitor budget allocations and expenditures.
• Handle payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Led the implementation of *Zoho Books* as the organization's accounting software.
• Customize Zoho Books to meet the NGO's specific needs.
• Train other accountants and staff members on using Zoho Books effectively.
• Work closely with department heads to understand their financial needs.
• Generate regular financial reports for management and board meetings.
• Assist in grant reporting and donor compliance.
• Prepare for annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
• Train accountants from our sister organization on Zoho Books.
• Foster knowledge sharing and collaboration between the two entities.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
• Experience working with NGOs or similar organizations preferred.
• Proficiency in Zoho Books or willingness to learn.
• Four years in accounting or related field.

• Identifying and resolving financial discrepancies efficiently.
• Clear communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
