Advertisement: Expression of Interest for Shotcrete Supply tenders at Bulyanhulu Gold Mine Limited (BGML)

Bulyanhulu Gold Mine Limited (BGML), a fully owned subsidiary of Twiga Minerals Corporation, invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from reputable, experienced, and certified companies interested in pre-qualifying for the provision of shotcrete supply at its Bulyanhulu Gold Mine.

Bulyanhulu Gold Mine is located 45 km south of Lake Victoria, in the Kahama District of Shinyanga Region, northern Tanzania. The mine site is accessible by road from Mwanza, 127 km to the northeast, and from Kahama, 84 km to the south.

Description of Work: Underground Shotcrete Supply

Pre-Qualification Criteria:

Interested companies must meet the following requirements:

1. Demonstrate the capability to produce and deliver shotcrete that meets the required quality standards in a timely manner to support continuous mining operations. This includes providing details on production capacity, quality control measures, and logistics plans.
2. Submit a detailed method statement demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the scope of work, including the supply, production, and delivery of high-quality shotcrete.
3. Comply with Barrick’s Safety standards and management systems and provide mine-site approved equipment(s).
4. Show evidence of experience in similar shotcrete supply projects in large-scale mining operations, with the ability to meet quality and timely delivery standards.

Submission Requirements:

Companies wishing to participate in the pre-qualification process must submit an EOI on their company’s letterhead referencing the work package reference number (BUL-25-02-03) along with the following documentation:

• Full company profile.
• Company registration documents (e.g., Certificate of Incorporation, Tax Clearance Certificate).
• Applicable certifications, accreditations, and affiliated registrations.
• Approved Local Content Plan or acknowledgment from the Mining Commissioner.
• BRELA detailed search certificate indicating Tanzanian ownership percentage to classify as an Indigenous Tanzanian Company as per the Local Content Regulation, 2018.

Submission Deadline:

All responses must be sent via email to bulytender@barrick.com by 18:00 hrs on 24th February 2025. Responses received after this deadline will not be considered.

Please ensure that the Reference Number and Description are included in the subject of your submission. If you do not hear from us within 21 days of the submission deadline, kindly consider your EOI unsuccessful.

The pre-qualification of any company submitting an EOI will be at the sole discretion of BGML.
