JOB DETAILS:
Duties and Responsibilities
• Implement Laws and Regulations relating to the promotion of aquaculture;
• Encouraging Sustainable Growth in Water;
• Promoting effective harvesting and storage of aquatic organisms;
• Conducting aquaculture training;
• Supervise the collection, analysis and interpretation of aquaculture data;
• To research or participate in aquaculture research activities as they arise in their workplace;
• Inspect the quality of aquaculture products and ensure that they meet national and international standards;
• Encouraging value addition in aquaculture products, to enhance its trade and marketing;
• Collect revenue from aquaculture products; and
• To perform other duties of his or her profession which shall be assigned to him or her by his or her supervisor.

Qualification and Experience
• Employed with one undergraduate degree in aquaculture, Aquatic Environmental Sciences and Conservation, Aquatic Sciences and Environment, Biology on water (Marine Biology) from any Government recognized colleges.
