THE Ocean Road Cancer Institute (ORCI)
The Ocean Road Cancer Institute (ORCI) was established by the Act of Parliament
No.2 of 1996.The Institute is a semi-autonomous organization which operates at “arm‟s length” under the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. The Institute has various roles which all stem on the main role of controlling Cancer in Tanzania.

Artisan III
REPORT TO: MAINTENANCE MANAGER
DUTY STATION: ORCI – DAR ES SALAAM.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine specified tasks that demand higher technical skills under supervision;
  
• Keep the workplace tidy;
  
• Collect and takes care of working tools;
  
• Carrie out minor repairs and maintenance;
  
• Report maintenance problems to senior staff;
  
• Assist in the operational repair of machinery, facilities, building and
  Infrastructure;
  
• Perform specified craft jobs under close supervision;
  
• Perform (technical) cleaning of the work environment;
  
• Take care of tools and equipment;
  
• Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by immediate Supervisor.
  

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Form IV with Trade Test grade IIII.
