Job Description
Responsibilities;
• Actively engage with guests, offering insightful tours and narratives about the Maasai culture and traditions.
• Facilitate cultural activities and experiences, ensuring guests leave with a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Maasai way of life.
• Oversee and plan room allocations, ensuring guest preferences and needs are met.
• Address guest inquiries and provide solutions to enhance their stay.
• Assist in the daily operations of the lodge, ensuring smooth functioning of all departments.
• Coordinate with various teams (housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance) to maintain high standards of service.
• Act as the representative of the lodge manager in their absence, making key decisions and managing staff effectively.
Requirements
• Experience in hospitality management or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of or interest in Maasai culture and history.
• Ability to multitask and manage operational aspects of the lodge.
• Leadership qualities and team management experience.
