Overview:
Handeni Rural District is one of the 10 districts of Tanga Region in Tanzania. It is bordered to the west by the Kilindi District and the Handeni Urban District, to the north by the Korogwe District, to the east by the Pangani District, and to the south by the Pwani Region. It split in 2002 form the Kilindi District. The administrative capital of the district is Handeni town.

He is announcing One Year Contract jobs for Tanzanians with qualifications and skills to fill the following positions:

5. Assistant Procurement Officer (1 Position)

a). characteristics of the Applicant.
i. Must have graduated with a Diploma in Procurement/Supply or an established Business in Procurement and Supply from a College recognized by the Government, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Procurement and Supplies Professional and Technicians Board (PSPTB). is registered with PSPTB as "Procurement and Supplies Technician" or "Procurement and Supplies Full Technician" and should have computer skills.

c) Duties and Responsibilities of the Assistant Procurement Officer II.
• Through the purchase logbook,
• Receiving claim documents from bidders,
• Prepare purchase requirements as directed,
• Prepare and maintain a list of bidders for various categories of products and services,
• Monitoring payment documents in comparison with purchase application documents,
• Receiving applications and various documents of bidders, and
• He will perform other tasks in his field assigned to him by his Principal/Supervisor.

Level of Education: Associate Degree
