Key Purpose:
The Business Development Representative will be responsible to work towards achieving growth in volumes sold; growth in market share and increased competitiveness through providing market driven differentiated service that builds sustainable competitiveness within clearly identified segments.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
â–ª Achieve sales targets for assigned areas
â–ª Responsible for the accuracy of the Customer database
â–ª Reviews area on a monthly basis developing an activity plan in line with activities as advised by Sales manager
â–ª Initiates proposals for activity in line with identified opportunities
â–ª New volume opportunities are identified and addressed appropriately (outlets and brands)
â–ª Management of the assigned territory through retail calling to pre agreed journey plan call schedule and designated standards
â–ª Drive retail sales in the specified area through the implementation of VAPPS sales drivers (Visibility; Availability; Price; Promotion; Space)
â–ª Responsible for the management of the TBL/Customer relationship
â–ª New volume opportunities are identified and addressed appropriately (Outlets and brands
â–ª Undertake reporting as per standards for outlet data base, Journey plan, calls made, activities undertaken, asset management, competitor activity and response
â–ª Monitor the recommended price of our product at sales outlets
â–ª Ambassador for TBL with Consumers
â–ª Management of Company Assets
â–ª POCS Recruitment

Requirements:
â–ª Minimum Diploma or Degree
â–ª Minimum of (2) years Sales experience in FMCG Industry
â–ª Sound theoretical and practical knowledge of Sales in FMCG
â–ª Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office applications
â–ª Be dynamic and sociable
â–ª Have easy contact and a sense of collaboration
â–ª Be a team leader
â–ª Good oral and writing skills
â–ª Be very predictable
â–ª Ability to maintain good relations with other departments within the company
â–ª Ability to listen and set an example to others
â–ª Master sales techniques
â–ª Ability to work under pressure
â–ª React positively to constructive criticism
â–ª Ability to comply with the instructions of his/her direct supervisor
â–ª Sharing risks for security measures linked to logistics
â–ª Responsible for entrusted working tools (vehicles, calculators, staplers etc.)
â–ª Must do his/her utmost to achieve the objectives that will be fixed
â–ª Must be punctual, self confident, self disciplined
â–ª Negotiation skills
â–ª Driving Licence - at least 1 year driving experience
