JOB DETAILS:
Camp Management Couple – Tanzania
JD Specialized Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Safari Camp in Tanzania for an experienced & qualified CAMP MANAGEMENT COUPLE
It is imperative to have good management experience in the Safari Industry in Africa, preferably in more remote and isolated environments Tertiary Education relevant to the Industry is essential for work permits

•Maintenance of the camp, namely plumbing, swimming pool, generators, electrical appliances, and the tents
•Maintenance of vehicles and boats.
•Meet and greet guests and orientation about the camp and the reserve. Planning of guest’s itinerary and organizing pick up and drop off guests to the airstrip.
•Guiding activities, including conducting walking safaris.
•Management of fuel and engineering stores.
•Training of staff on guiding and overall supervision of the camp.
•Meeting and greeting of guests and liaison with Sales office on bookings and guest requirements.
• Management of the kitchen and designing a weekly set menu and organizing procurement orders to the Head office in Dar es Salaam.
•Supervision of tents cleanliness and management of the kitchen (including advising on new dishes and exotic presentation of food) and housekeeping stores.
•Advising the Board on the décor of the camp and overall in-charge of upkeep of the camp, viz. gardening, front-area, deck-area, etc
•Handling and disbursing petty cash and reporting to Head office on weekly basis.
•Reporting on activities of guests, non-alcoholic drinks, and other statistical reports as and when required.
