JOB DETAILS:
We are currently in need of the candidates meeting criteria for the above role on behalf of our client with several Luxury Camps, Lodges and Conservation area in Serengeti Ngorongoro, Manyara, Tarangire and Maswa game reserve.

Position Title: Chief Security Officer (CSO)/Security Manager (SM)
Reports To: General Manager/Resident Manager
Salary: Good package to be offered

Starting Date: As Soon
Role Location: Bush (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Maswa & Other National Parks)

Position Summary:
As a Security Chief you are responsible to protect and safeguard all hotel guests, employees, their belongings and all Lodge/Camp assets. Also ensuring that all hotel properties are adequately secured at all times.
Responsible for preparing daily incident reports, requisitions and other inter office memos and ensure that all allegations of the crime and other incidents are investigated and properly recorded.

Security Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
• Project an image of friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to provide personalized services to all building occupants, workers, and neighbors, whether over the phone or in person.
• Honor the guest, employee, and Lodge confidentiality policy. Act as a liaison with all law enforcement agencies, city and Government agencies, and hotel associations.
• Assist Director of Security with responsibility to ensure the protection of guests, patrons and associates; their property, Lodge/Camps property, building and grounds.
• Enforce Lodges rules, regulations and policies as well as our department’s’ rules, policies and standards.
• Assist with control of loading dock to facilitate a respectful and efficient working area.
• Patrol building; noting and correcting safety, security, and fire hazards.
• Respond professionally in any and every Lodge emergency safety situation. Write comprehensive incident reports and conduct thorough investigations.
• Assist with follow-up on investigations.
• Provide First Aid and CPR. Maintain certification for CPR and First Aid given by the Lodge.
• Contain and transport items potentially contaminated in accordance with Blood Borne Pathogen protocols and training.
• Provide basic security services, key control, guest and function room lock problems/reprogramming, guestroom safe malfunctions, and lock out. arises.

Education:
• High School or college degree preferred or 3 year degree from an accredited university in Criminal Justice or related major.
• Proficiency in Computers, CCTV, Fire and Safety systems
• Experience in CPR and First Aid

Experience:
• At least 5 years of experience in corporate security/law enforcement /military preferably worked in a hospitality environment.
• 1-2 years must be of experience in a luxury hotel

Prerequisites:
• Fluency in English in both written and spoken and the capability to follow safety and security rules and procedures without compromises at all times is essential.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
• Previous Security or Police experienced preferred
• Fire Safety knowledge preferred
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in Tanzania
