Tender Invitation
World Vision Tanzania – Head Office in Arusha invites sealed tenders from eligible, reputable, and qualified bidders:

1. Class Seven and above (Class 3 to 7) registered by CRB Tanzania (Local Contractor Categories) in both Civil and Building for construction of building and water supply projects.
2. Class Seven and above (Class 3 to 7) for construction of building projects.
3. Drillers registered by BRELA and having water drilling licenses.

Tender Lots

• Lots (1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 – Construction of Water Projects) require eligible Contractors Class Seven and above (Class 3 to 7) registered by CRB Tanzania (Local Contractor Categories) in both Civil and Building with a minimum of three years’ experience, good records of performance, and verifiable completed projects implemented within three years up to September 2024.
• Lots 6 up to 24 require eligible Contractors Class Seven and above for Civil/building registered by CRB Tanzania with a minimum of three years’ experience in construction of buildings (classroom, latrines, dispensary, and staff house), good records of performance, and verifiable similar completed building projects implemented within three years up to September 2024.
• Lot 25 and 29 require eligible drillers registered by Tanzania (Local Drillers Categories) in drilling activities with a minimum of three years’ experience, good records of performance, and verifiable completed projects implemented within three years up to September 2024.

Submission Details

• All submission of tenders are strictly electronic via the Coupa Provision system. No emailed soft copies or physical hard copies will be accepted.
• All submissions must be in a soft copy of the BOO in PDF format and in Excel format, which must be included in the bid package. (This soft copy is for comparison purposes only; the PDF BOO will be referred to in the evaluation of the bid).
• Site Visits for all construction-related works are mandatory and shall be conducted on 22nd, 24th, 29th, 31st October, and 05th of November 2024. Contact personnel will be as per schedule shown in the tender documents.

• LOT 1: Construction of water supply project (Pipe & Civil works) at Muungano village, Kongwa District, Kongwa AP, Central Southern Cluster.
  • a) Extension of Muungano Water Project at Muungano Village
• LOT 2: Rehabilitation of water gravity main at Nyololo village, Mufindi District council – Nyololo AP, Central Southern Cluster.
  • a) Rehabilitation of Nyololo Shuleni Water System at Nyololo AP
• LOT 3: Extension of water supply project at Kwedizinga village, Mkumburu AP, Handeni District, Northern Cluster.
  • a) Construction of extension of Kwedizinga water supply project
• LOT 4: Construction of water supply and irrigation project at Shamkeri Village, Arumeru District, Babati Wingi Northern Cluster.
  • a) Construction of Shamkeri water supply and irrigation project at Shamkeri Village
• LOT 5: Construction of rainwater harvesting system, water storage facility, and water connection at Mwakikonge village, Mkinga District, Mkinga AP, Northern Cluster.
  • a) Supply and installation of 3m³ storage tank raised on 2.5m tower and connecting water to existing source at Mwakikonge dispensary
  • b) Construction of rainwater harvesting system with 50m³ on-ground tank at Mwakikonge dispensary

Bidding Process
Bidders shall email their bank deposit slip for a non-refundable fee of Tsh. 50,000 (Tsh. Fifty Thousand only) per lot to the email address: tzao_tenders@wvi.org. Upon sending your email, indicate the Lot Number of the tender and company name as the email subject. The same email address will confirm and send you back a receipt. A link to access bid documents shall be sent to the bidder’s email address within 48 hours through Coupa Provision system upon confirmation of the receipt.

Bids shall be submitted and received on or before 07th November 2024 at 10:00 hrs. Bids sent after the closing date will not be accepted as the system will automatically close and won’t allow for submission. Tenders will be opened immediately on the same bid closing day and time in the presence of bidders or representatives who wish to witness the opening via the online platform ZOOM link that will be shared in your email.

Note: WVT is not bound to accept the lowest, highest, or any tender. The evaluation of bids will be conducted as per World Vision Tanzania Procurement Guidelines.
