JOB DETAILS:
Responsibilities
• Liaising with head office, prepare quarterly/annual reports.
• Represent the company and country, regional and international level and to the board.
• Prepare the country strategy for review and implementation.
• Manage all recruitment and departments.
• Ensure that all company policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Identify key potential clients and lead the business development and sales cycle.
• Provide a weekly update regarding sales and potential sales.
• Be conversant with sales force and ensure it is updated regularly.
• Review project proposals for financial and technical accuracy and completeness.
• Recruiting, vetting and training all new staff.
• Ensure all personnel files are complete and that staff have current contracts and timely reviews.
• Review of team building, team management, replacement of staff as turnover occurs and as team may grow.
• Understand the region thoroughly and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Understand the broader tax, regulatory, statutory and legal legislation that is in place in the country and ensure that the company is compliant at all times.
• Ensure timely preparation and review of management and annual accounts.
• Manage the annual budget and provide analysis for variances.
• Quarterly review on team’s expenditure to ensure in-line with budget and proper allocation of growth resources.
• Ensure project status reports are completed and timely for all projects in design and commissioning phases.
• Ensure Monthly Maintenance report completed and timely for the Asset Management of projects the company provides operation and maintenance services.
• Identification of non-compliant project or assets and necessary follow-up with Engineering to resolve the issue.
• Crisis management of any importation, client-related, - or team-identified issue within project rollout and management of existing installed assets.
• Review of project budget and project actuals to feedback costing improvements or changes to business development and sales.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or practical experience in the field of operations along with diploma’s.
• Ten years or more of proven working experience in a similar or related role.
• Understanding of Tanzania's tax administrative procedures.
• Strong dynamic leader combined with a deep work ethic and sense of initiative.
• Time management, organizational skills, reliability and adaptability.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Fluent in English both spoken and written.
• Proven ability to build a country office and manage staff.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
