JOB DETAILS:
Job Function
Responsible for overall day-to-day Fuel Operations, making sure activities runs smoothly and meets the target.

Key Performance Areas:
• To consistently deliver the highest customer service at all times
• Operating Fuel bowser’s around the Terminal (DP World Dar es Salaam Terminal)
• Servicing the fuel to the Machines, Generators etc (Machines which cannot reach to the fuel station)
• Ensure compliance in port policies (Terminal refueling procedures)
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times
• Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;
• Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
• Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;
• Report any issues or training needs to your Supervisor and /or via your divisional incident reporting
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections on the truck and report any issues to the supervisor
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck
• Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the truck

Qualifications Required:
• A current and valid Tanzania Driving License class E
• Certificate of driving from recognized Institution

Experience and Skills Required:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a fuel truck driver
• Previous experience operating fuel bowsers or similar (would be advantageous)
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Be physically fit
• Excellent organization skills
• Ability to quickly and accurately being able to react and assess any given situation and instigate
• corrective action
• Work well within a team
