Job Title: Executive Chef
Our company is looking for an experienced and competent Head Chef who is going to work on our camps. In different locations.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an Executive Chef who is passionate about creating innovative and delicious dishes, while maintaining a high level of food quality and consistency. The successful candidate will be
responsible for leading our team, managing food costs, and ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement menus, specials, and promotions in collaboration with the restaurant’s management team.
2. Lead and manage a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff.
3. Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
4. Manage food costs, inventory, and labor to achieve budgetary target.
5. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high-quality products.
7. Develop relationships with local suppliers and farmers to source high-quality ingredients.
8. Manage the kitchen’s inventory, ordering, and receiving processes.
9. Ensure that all food safety and sanitation protocols are followed.
10. Participate in menu engineering and cost control efforts.
11. Develop and maintain relationships with local food critics, bloggers, and influencers.
Requirements:
1. 10 + years of experience as a chef and 5 + years working as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hospitality company.
2. Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
3. Proven track record of managing food costs, inventory, and labor to achieve budgetary targets.
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
5. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
6. Strong organizational and time management skill.
7. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
8. Food Safety Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience with menu engineering and cost control efforts.
2. Knowledge of food systems and sustainability practices
