JOB DETAILS:

• To undetake all general farming activities with respect to the set-up, operations(including but not limited to planting, harvesting, marketing, sellling) maintenance, expansion, productivity, efficiency etc of the farms;
• to direct and coordinate worker activities, such as planting, irrigation, chemical application, harvesting, grading, payroll, and recordkeeping
• to coordinate growing activities with those of engineering, equipment maintenance, packing houses, and other related departments
• to analyze market conditions to determine acreage allocations
• to confer with purchasers and arrange for sale of crops
• to record information, such as production, farm management practices, and parent stock, and prepares financial and operational reports.
• To determine procedural changes in drying, grading, storage, and shipment for greater efficiency and accuracy
• To analyze soil to determine type and quantity of fertilizer required for maximum production
• To inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• To inspect orchards and fields to determine maturity dates of crops or to estimate potential crop damage from weather;
