JOB DETAILS:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recording expenses including accrued and prepaid expenses and ensure proper treatment of financial records;
  
• Accounting for withdrawal and investment into the funds and carrying out periodic reconciliations with records of registers to ensure correct pricing of the funds;
  
• Processing accounting information in the accounting software and generating periodic accounting reports;
  
• Performing reconciliation of bank balances with book balances at month end dates;
  
• Carrying out day to day activities related to accounting;
  
• Carrying out custodianship of all accounting records and correspondences pertaining to the unit assigned;
  
• Maintaining proper filing system;
  
• Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the superiors.
  

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• A holder of the First degree in Accounting or equivalent Qualifications or related fields from a recognized University/Institution. Knowledge on fund management business will be an added advantage.
  
• A Minimum of two years working experience in Investment, Accounting, Banking and Financial Matters or related field is required.
