JOB DETAILS:
Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Gender Lead Consultant to join our client’s team.This is a 7 month contract.

Responsibilities
• Manage Consultancy team, processes, deliverables, staff LoE, high-level coordination with relevant institutions;
• Ensure gender assessments at the national, district and sub-district levels meet the established objectives;
• Ensure Consultancy’s focus takes into account Mozambique’s legal framework and requirements on gender equality matters, as well as client’s Gender Policy and Social Inclusion and Gender Strategy;
• Serve as main Point-of-Contact for the Consultancy, with relevant stakeholders,
• Oversee and guide Gender Research Assistant
• Expertise on qualitative data analysis

Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
• 10 years’ professional experience conducting gender assessments
• 7 years’ research experience, including studies using qualitative methods
• 5 years leading research teams
• Experience working in Mozambique
• Portuguese and English proficiency
• Experience integrating gender components in the transport sector, desired
