General Manager Operations and sales

Job Summary
Operations and sales play a key role in the Organization business and operational plans.

The General Manager Operations and Sales will collaborate with the executive management team to Suitably manage operations and nine, to run smoothly in a manner that will keep the Company put Company Business. This petition will provide the right person with international exposures and potential to achieve one’: career objectives.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Strategy emotion - business and operational plane. Roadmaps, budgets, targets, objectives, priorities, schedules, project plane
  
• Managing Company external and internal audit by ensuring audit Information requirements are provided and management a responses are timely.
  
• Assist in preparation of annual budgets and budgetary control through variance analysis.
  
• Risk management - identification, assessment & corrective action/escalation
  
• Operational efficiency (maintenance, effectiveness a, processes & workflows. systems, policies, SOP‘s, SLA's, performance standards
  
• Compliant - Legal and Regulatory (Insurance Act or 2000, Insurance regulations of 2009,.VAT Act of 2004, Company Act and all relevant laws of the country) if Compliance with internal and external requirements
  
• Strategy development and translation of company and department strategy
  
• Team direction and guidance (purpose; values; gods; alignment)
  
• Team member performance - role clarity and objective performance reviews; feedback; corrective actions
  
• Team member skill level (training; individual development plans; coaching; career planning)
  

Minimum qualification and experience

• Bachelor Degree in insurance it Risk Management from reputable Higher Learning Institution or
  
• Should be an Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) or IISA
  
• MBA and / FCII or FIISA will been added advantage
  
• Minimum of 10 years’ working experience in
  Management
  
• Minimum of five years’ working experience es ExCo
  Member
  
• Proven strategic planning experience at the management level
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  
• Should have Leadership Skills
  
• Should have strong interpersonal and Communication Skills
  
• working experience with accounting packages
