China Road and Bridge Corporation [CRBC] is one of the four large State -owned companies that first entered the international contracting market. CRBC is a major overseas business platform of China Communications Construction Company [CCCC], a Fortune Global 500 company.
China Road and Bridge Corporation, now as the Contractor of Improvement of assorted accident “Black Spots” at the priority sites along the Dar es Salaam CorridorPhase 1(Lot 2- Coast Region), is looking for a Highway Engineer. The Contract Period is 12 months.
Successful applicant must be ready to work for considerable lengths of time in the contract period and may continue to work with us in other projects.

  Educational/Professional qualifications:
• Must have a Bachelor Degree in Civil or Highway Engineering or equivalent from any recognized Higher Learning Institution/colleges;
• Registered as Professional Engineer with ERB;
• Work Experience: At least 8 years cumulative experience related to road design and construction;
• A postgraduate qualification in the position of highway engineer and experience for at least 5 years;
• Computer literate;
• Shall comprise road surveys, construction of pavement structure, measuring of quantities and management of site operation;
• Self-motivation, able to work under pressure outside working hours with minimum supervision;
• Fluent in English is mandatory;
