Job Details
Our client a high end resort in Zanzibar is seeking to hire a Hotel Sales & Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote our resort/hotel, attract guests, and enhance brand awareness. The ideal candidate must have a relevant bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales & marketing, preferably within the hospitality industry, with a focus on resort or hotel sales & marketing.

• Must be willing to relocate to Zanzibar.
• Monthly Gross Salary: Open for Discussion

KEY REQUIREMENTS
• Create comprehensive Sales & marketing plans and strategies aligned with the resort/hotel’s business goals, target audience, and competitive landscape.
• Oversee the resort/hotel’s digital marketing efforts, including website management, search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and platforms, maintaining the resort/hotel’s unique identity and image.
• Plan and execute advertising campaigns, promotions, and special events to attract new guests and increase repeat bookings.
• Develop engaging and persuasive content for various marketing channels, such as website pages, blog posts, social media, and email newsletters.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for growth.
• Work closely with the sales and revenue management teams to align marketing efforts with sales targets and revenue goals.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing, preferably within the hospitality industry, with a focus on resort or hotel marketing.
• Proven experience in digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing.
• Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop unique and appealing marketing campaigns.
• Experience leading and motivating a marketing team to achieve targets and deliver high-quality work.
• Strong networking skills to establish partnerships and collaborations within the industry.
