VACANCIES
Musoma Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (MUWASA) is a utility established under section 9 of the Water Supply and Sanitation Act No. 12 of 2009 with the objective of provision of Water Supply and Sanitation services in Musoma Municipality. In this respect, the activities of MUWASA have specifically expanded and the Authority now invites application from suitably qualified and skilled individuals who are dynamic and result oriented to fill the following posts:

Position: ICT Officer
Reporting to: Managing Director

Duties and Responsibilities
• To schedule upgrades of hardware and software systems and security backups;
• To maintain ICT systems, including anti-virus software, printing services and email provision;
• To manage ICT crisis situations, which involve complex technical hardware or software problems.
• To define the scope of system study,
• To assign systems development personnel projects.
• Reviewing documentation prepared by systems personnel.
• To organize new programming projects and assigning projects to personnel.
• To prepare new project schedule.
• To report new project schedule.
• To administer proper database.
• To perform any other duties as may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Holders of Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma qualifications in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Communication Technology, Information System Analysis, Electronics and Communications or any other relevant qualifications from a recognized Institution with a working experience.

Age limit: Not above 45 years of age
Salary scale: MUS D
