JOB DETAILS:
Service dimensions
• Based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
• Transverse service requiring good coordination and communication with EACOP end users. Therefore, good relational qualities are
• Works in coordination with EACOP IST, Corporate and Operations business teams across Uganda, Tanzania and UK.

Activities
The Proximity Support Assistant will be responsible for the following:
• Record and track user requests for assistance relating to equipment and applications.
• Intervene following a request for assistance in the office or remotely.
• Maintain the IST inventory (hardware, software, systems component…) and update the IST service management tool (incidents / problem – CMDB – change management).
• Diagnose and resolve 1st level malfunctions, breakdowns, network incidents, defective materials, equipment, applications and virus incidents.
• Escalate to 2rd level support teams or contracts and provides local proximity support.
• Meeting rooms technical support.
• Install and use support tools for IST systems supervision
• Assist and advise users in his/her area of expertise

Context and environment
• Works under the supervision of the EACOP IST Local Operations and Support (TZ)

Accountabilities
• Contributes to the overall quality of IST services provided to EACOP end-users.

Qualifications/Experience required
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in the usage of computers, mobile devices, software and applications like Access, Excel, Word, and SharePoint…, Cloud based solutions and services, IST management and monitoring tools. Required
• Proficiency in ICT infrastructure. Required
• Ability to organize and manage priorities, rigorous. Required
• General team spirit: Creative, strength of proposal for performance improvement, good contact, sense of communication.

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
