About the job
We are looking for an IT Executive to assist the IT Department to oversee our company’s hardware, software and computer networks.IT executive responsibilities include monitoring network infrastructure and resolving system issues. You need to have experience with IT performance management, network administration and system security. If you’re also familiar with data protection regulations and good knowledge in databases and programming is added advantage

Responsibilities
1. Maintain and optimize local company networks and servers
2. Be responsible for device and password management
3. Oversee data backup and system security operations (e.g. user authorization, firewalls)
4. Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software
5. Assess system performance and recommend improvements
6. Resolve issues escalated by technicians and engineers
7. Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to legal and company guidelines
8. Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via help desk
9. Control costs and budgets regarding IT systems
10. Develop IT policies and practices

Qualifications
1. Good knowledge and understanding about IT Operations
2. Good knowledge in system installation, configuration and analysis
3. Thorough knowledge of networks and cloud computing
4. Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation
5. Ability to manage multiple projects
6. Outstanding communication skills
7. Problem-solving aptitude
8. BSc in Computer Science, IT or any equivalent
