JOB DETAILS:
ActionAid is an international anti-poverty agency working in over 47 countries, taking sides with People living in poverty and exclusion to end poverty and injustice together. ActionAid Tanzania (AATZ) envisions seeing Tanzania without poverty, injustice and inequality in which every person enjoys sustainable development and a right to a life of dignity. Currently, AATZ is looking for a qualified, experienced and self-motivated person to fill in the following posts: .

Roles:
• Enhance meaningful participation of young men and women in decision making processes through mobilization and engagement in the existing government structures, and governance processes
• Enhance the knowledge and skills of Pemba Youth Voice Organization to be able to engage with communities and government in demanding their rights
• Support partners to carry out action research to establish evidence for advocacy and campaigning:

Personal qualifications: First degree or Advanced Diploma in social science is essential coupled up with experience in project management

Required skills & core competences Minimum 3 years of experience in the following
• Advocacy and campaigns, Youth and Women Rights
• Training and Facilitation skills including participatory methodologies, Documentation
• Good analytical skills,
• Communication skills
• Knowledge on MEL systems and framework and ability to do fund raising mechanisms
