CONSTRUCTION OF IRRIGATION FACILITY IN ITUMPI WARD, MBOZI DISTRICT, SONGWE REGION

1. The Good Neighbors Tanzania has a plan to construct one (1) irrigation facility (water storage facility: dam and irrigation of field) in Mbozi district, Songwe Region and it intends to implement the plan by hiring a qualified contractor according to its internal policy and secured budget for this project.
2. The Good Neighbors Tanzania now invites sealed tenders from eligible Tanzanian contractors registered in Class VII and above for construction of irrigation facilities in Itumpi ward, Mbozi district- Songwe region.
3. Bidders may request a clarification of bidding document only up to Three (3) days before the Bid submission deadline by sending email to jcrumenera@goodneighbors.or.tz or call to +255787081413 (Eng Andrea M.).
4. A complete set of Bid Document(s) in English and additional sets are freely accessible through Good Neighbors Tanzania Website: https://goodneighbors.or.tz/tenders-2/
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
6. All Tenders in one original plus two (2) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Good Neighbors Tanzania, Mbozi project Office, near the regional office, along Tanzania-Zambia road before 10:00AM, 08^th October 2024. Tenders shall be opened thereafter at the same address in the presence of the bidders Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend.
7. A visit of the site is planned to be conducted on 30^th September 2024 from 10:00AM.
8. Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstance.
