Qualifications
• Holder of BSc Laboratory Sciences and Biotechnology; BSc in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry); BSc Environmental Science and Management; or any other relevant degree with analytical chemistry component from a recognized institution. Experience
• Using Chromatographic separation Techniques including High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) or/and Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry Techniques (LC-MS/MS) will be an added advantage for applicants

Duties and responsibilities
• Undertake independently, the specified routine technical tasks that require a higher degree of technical knowledge and skills.
• Implement specified maintenance plans for laboratory facilities.
• Prepare chemicals, solvents, reagents and standards for relevant tests and experiments.
• Operate the High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) or/and Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry Techniques (LC-MS/MS) for ICARS projects
• Provides hands-on assistance to researchers and students working in the laboratory on experiments using HPLC and LC-MS/MS techniques.
• Performs instrument and equipment calibration, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Keeps records and logs of all work done and data generated in the laboratory.
• Assists in taking the inventory of necessary supplies and reagents.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by the project Coordinator.
