EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Applications are invited from suitable qualified and experienced Tanzanians to fill the following vacant position on a contract period of ONE year at the College of Business Education (CBE) Main Campus (Dar es Salaam). The College of Business Education was established by Act of Parliament CAP 315 R.E of 2002. It is a Public Higher Learning Institution, which provides

Teaching, Research and Consultancy Services in the fields of Accountancy, Procurement & Supplies, Marketing Management, Metrology and Standardization, ICT and other businessrelated disciplines

To enhance effective teaching and learning, research and provision of public services, the College invites applications from suitable qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacant position:
1.0 Laboratory Technologist II – 1 POST

1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To prepare re-agents for routine examination of patients;
2. To carry out diagnostic procedure as advised by Doctors;
3. To ensure that laboratory is kept clean and the glassware is available and clean;
4. To ensure that all samples for investigations are kept in safe custody; (v) To maintain a record of the findings of all investigations carried out; and
5. (vi) To perform any other related duties as may be directed by his/her supervisor.

1.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
1. Holder of Diploma in Health Laboratory Technology or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions. Computer skills will be an added advantage.

1.3 REMUNERATION: PMGSS 4
1.4 GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. All applicants must be Citizens of Tanzania with age not above 45 years of age;
2. Applicants must attach an up-to-date Curriculum Vitae (CV) having reliable contacts; postal address/post code, e-mail and telephone numbers;
3. Applicants should apply on the strength of the information given in this advertisement; (iv) Applicants must attach their certified copies of the following: –

•Diploma transcripts and certificates;
1. Form IV and Form VI National Examination Certificates;
2. Professional Registration and Training Certificates from respective Registration or Regulatory Bodies (where applicable);
3. Birth certificate; and
4. National Identification Card.

Attaching copies of the following certificates is strictly not accepted: –
1. Form IV and form VI results slip;
2. Testimonials and or Partial transcripts;
3. An applicant must submit a recent Passport Size Photo;
4. An applicant who is retired from the Public Service for whatever reason should not apply;
5. An applicant should indicate three reputable referees with reliable contacts;
6. Certificates from foreign examination bodies for Ordinary or Advanced level education should be verified by the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA);

Professional certificates from Foreign Universities and other training institutions should be verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET);
1. An applicant with special needs/case (disability) is advised to indicate;
2. Only short-listed candidates will be informed on the date of interview and;
3. Presentation of forged certificates and other information will necessitate legal action;
