JOB DETAILS:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To teach up to NTA level 9;
• To guide and supervise students in building up their practical and research projects;
• To prepare learning resources and design training exercises for students;
• To conduct consultancy and community services;
• To participate in developing and reviewing curriculum;
• To undertake individual research and participate in scientific/academic congregations;
• To prepare teaching manuals, simulations and case studies for training;
• To coach junior teaching staff; and
• To perform any other relevant duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Holder of a PhD (NTA Level 10) in Nautical Science/ Navigation Technology/ Hydrographic Studies/ Fishing Technology or equivalent qualifications from recognized Institutions with a minimum GPA of 3.5 at Bachelor Degree level and 3.8 at Master Degree level. Must be ready to undergo Sea Service.

OR
Holder of a Master Degree in Nautical Science/ Navigation Technology/ Hydrographic Studies/ Fishing Technology or equivalent and minimum GPA of 3.5 at Bachelor Degree and 3.8 at Master Degree level with working experience of at least four (4) years in related industry and with at least three (3) points attained from consultancy, publications or academic book. The publication must be published within recent four years. Must be ready to undergo Sea Service.
