JOB DETAILS:
Duties and responsibilities
• Carry out lectures, conduct tutorials, seminars and practicals for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes;
• Mentor junior staff in relevant fields;
• Participate / contribute in curriculum development;
• Participate in developing and managing various University / College activities;
• Undertake research and publish / disseminate results;
• Carryout consultancy and community services;
• Write teaching manuals and compendia;
• Supervise field practical, undergraduate special projects, Masters and PhD dissertations/theses;
• To attend/organize workshops, conferences and symposia; and
• To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the relevant authorities.
Qualification and experience
• Holder of PhD in Education measurement and Evaluation/PhD in Educational Philosophy/PhD in Education with Master of Arts in Philosophy/Master’s degree of Education in Science Education /master’s degree in educational Assessment and Evaluation/Master of Art in Education or related fields and BSc Education or related fields with a minimum GPA of 4.0 & G.P.A of 3.8 respectively from a recognized Institutions.
