Mbeya Cement Company Limited is seeking to recruit highly motivated Logistics Manager, tobe based in Mbeya Plant, in a permanent employment contract.
Position Reporting To: Commercial Director

1. Summary of Roles and Responsibilities
• Plan and monitor performance against the plan. This involves transport flows performance and transporter performance against allocation.
• Ensure zero harm on road transport through enforcement of 100% compliance to Road Safety
• Standards i.e. implements national additional road safety.
• Ensure the loading activities is following all procedures and the trucks are loaded without delay
• Implements the road safety program, including monitoring driver behaviour and giving driver
• feedback.
• Drive contracted transporters Health and Safety Performance through road transport Health and
• safety initiatives implementation. Hold regular meetings with transporter directors and safety officers to set and review performance against plans.

2. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor degree in Procurement and Logistics with minimum of five years’ experience in clinker and cement manufacturing industry.

3. Technical Competencies /Additional skills:
• Excellent Organizational and leadership skills. b) Performance oriented
• Knowledge of Procurement and Supplies Professional standard and conducts.
• High level of integrity and self-discipline.
• Problem solving, analysis and decision making. f) Assertive, attentive to details.
