Job description
A management and leadership trainer is responsible for developing and implementing leadership and management training curricula for a variety of organizations. The job involves facilitating training sessions, workshops, and seminars. They provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to individual leaders. The trainer evaluates the effectiveness of management and leadership programs and makes adjustments as needed. The job responsibilities of a management and leadership trainer include;
1. Develop and implement management and leadership training curricula for a variety of organizations.
2. Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
3. Develop and design management and leadership development programs.
4. Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to individual leaders.
5. Evaluate the effectiveness of management and leadership training programs and make adjustments as needed.
6. Design materials, such as handouts, activities, and assessments, to support the training program.
7. Research new and innovative methods for training.
8. Keep up with trends in management and leadership development and best practices.
9. Utilize technology, including multimedia and virtual platforms, to enhance training programs.
10. Monitor and track participant progress in management and leadership training programs.
11. Carry out remote learner sessions and reviews in a timely manner
12. Assess and coach Leadership and Management up to Level
13. Support learners on a one-to-one basis through numerous means (face to face and remote).
Requirements
Qualification and experience
• Must hold a masters degree in Social sciences, public administration, leadership and management, or any other related discipline
• A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a training position.
• Experience of delivering Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor and/or Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeships
