JOB DETAILS:
Position: marketing officer (mo)
• Responsibilities for Marketing Officer
• Managing and developing marketing campaigns;
• Researching and analyzing data to identify and define audiences;
• Conducting promotional activities;
• Organizing and distributing financial and statistical information;
• Overseeing campaigns on social media;
• Evaluating the effectiveness of campaigns;
• Reporting on trends and statistics across all digital media platforms
• Contribute in the implementation of marketing strategies;
• Support the marketing manager in overseeing the department’s operations;
• Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness;
• Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.);
• Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote success of activities and enhance the company’s presence;
• Prepare content for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution;
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities for markets, promotion and growth;
• Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses.

MO Qualifications
• Must have a driving license
• Must have intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels;
• Must have excellent communication skills;
• Must have ability to think creatively and innovatively;
• Must have professional judgment and discretion that comes from years of experience in the field;
• Must have analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges in water industry;
• Must have familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, and production;
• Must have proven work experience in marketing of at least one year;
• Must have solid knowledge of market research techniques;
• Must have thorough knowledge of social media and web analytics; and,
• Education - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related fields.
