Operations Support Team Leader Opportunities, supporting Typhoon with BAE Systems in Saudi Arabia
What we’re looking for in you
We are seeking dedicated professionals to be responsible to the Typhoon Operations Manager, for the development and promulgation of the short, medium and long term flying programmes to meet the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) flying requirements and the Company’s contracted targets. Act as the key interface between the 3rd Sqn Commander, his Aircrew, and the Maintenance Operational Flight (MOF). Oversee the day-to-day supervision of all the operations support staff in both 03rd and 10th Squadrons, creating and inspiring a team environment with an open communication culture. To be able to motivate team members and implement training needs and coaching to personnel when required. Recognise high performance; reward where necessary and encourage career development. To engage with the Team Leaders, on a daily basis, to ensure that tasks and deadlines are adhered to, and set clear team goals and objectives. To manage and facilitate the compilation of all relevant Flying statistics, including Service Performance and its dissemination to all key stakeholders, both RSAF and company. The Team Leader is to act as the key interface between Aircrew and all key stakeholders, ensuring that information is made available to support operational activities in timely fashion reflecting the critical nature of the data. The jobholder will supervise both Saudi Nationals and Non Saudi Nationals. Responsible for training and mentoring activities in respect of RSAF Trainees.

  Experience Requirement
  
• Must be educated to HND level or recognized equivalent or have relevant experience supported by formal, recorded workplace applied related training.
  
• Must have extensive Military Flying Operations support experience (Comprehensive experience within Squadron Operations, Air Traffic support and Engineering support roles).
  
• Must have extensive Flying Operations and Mission Support knowledge (Comprehensive experience within a Squadron Operations support role), including an understanding of mission planning support, and debriefing support.
  
• Must have an understanding of RAF Flying operations procedures including: mission planning support and flying programme management.
  
• Capable of working independently or as part of a larger operational team under extreme pressure and to tight operational timescales.
  
• Must be educated to HND level or recognised equivalent or have relevant experience supported by formal, recorded workplace applied related training.
  
• Must have strong leadership and managerial skills to be able to manage a diverse workforce and to ensure efficient day-to-day Operations.
