The company operates terminals in Tanzania (Dar Es Salaam), Walvis Bay (Namibia), and an operating center in Ndola, Zambia.
Zambia Cargo and Logistics (ZCL) is inviting applications from suitably qualified Tanzanians to be considered for employment to fill vacant positions listed hereunder:

Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Officer – 1 Post
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in logistics will be added advantage.
Personal Attributes:
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide safety training to employees and management.
- Ensure compliance with local HSE regulations.
- Assist in responding to and investigating concerns/complaints from workers/employers and assist in taking appropriate action.
- Assist in carrying out industrial hygiene surveys.
- Ensure that operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in carrying out inspections of workplaces and take necessary action to ensure compliance.
- Assist in the establishment of workplace safety and health committees.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned by a reporting supervisor.
