About The Role
The RD&A Technologist role focuses on driving the development and application of innovative food and beverage products, ensuring high-quality standards and customer satisfaction within our research and development team.
Key responsibilities
• Project Management in Research & Innovation:
• Leading projects from research through to application and commercialization.
• Managing sensory evaluations specifically related to beverages.
• Supporting beverage applications using equipment and processes.
• Recipe Development:
• Applying scientific principles to enhance product attributes beyond taste.
• Refining existing application information and procedures based on customer feedback.
• Product and Raw Material Support:
• Maintaining stock of standardized products and raw materials.
• Validating ingredient functionality and ensuring product stability and safety through shelf-life studies.
• Documentation and Laboratory Skills:
• Recording all research outputs and testing results as per protocols.
• Hands-on laboratory work and data analysis.
Qualifications And Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related Applied Science field.
• Strong interest and understanding of ingredient functionality and recipe formulation.
• Innovative thinker with the ability to generate and implement new ideas.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while seeking guidance from senior team members.
• Preferably 1-2 years of experience in laboratory settings, food production facilities, or relevant industry internships.
• Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment with demanding deadlines.
