SERVICES FOR EACOP HEAD OFFICE BUILDING

East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) LTD (“EACOP LTD”) invites experienced and reputable companies to express their interest in providing valuation services to the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) Project.

The EACOP Project involves the construction and operation of an underground and cross-border pipeline to transport crude oil for export to international markets.

The pipeline will run from Kabaale, Hoima District in Uganda to the Chongoleani peninsula in Tanga, Tanzania. The length of the pipeline is 1,443 km, of which 1,147 km will be in Tanzania.

 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SCOPE OF THE SERVICES

EACOP Ltd, occupies parts of four floors covering a total of [***] sqm at the Address Building, located at Plot No. 1403, Block 1, House No. 7, Bains Avenue, Off Chole Road, Dar es Salaam. As part of maintenance and upkeep of the areas occupied by its offices, EACOP Ltd requires the services of the qualified personnel/ companies to provide the following services;

Conduct regular and / or preventive maintenance services of the HVAC system.

Ensuring for the whole duration of the contract that the trainees assigned to the training program have the requisite moral and physical health and functional capabilities.

Conduct regular and / or preventive maintenance services on the occupied area water filter units (including change of filter elements, seals and gaskets etc.)

On-call support for adhoc internal offices maintenance works (Electrical, Sanitary System (Plumbing, attending the leakage from taps and valves, sanitary fixtures, fixtures for water supply etc.), AC split Units internal units only-call General Light / Medium maintenance works (Mechanical / Electrical).

Note: The list is only indicative and not at all exhaustive. Scope of work and of services shall be finalized during the CFT and contractual arrangement phase.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Companies expressing their interest are invited to document their request with: Proof of registration (Certificate of Incorporation) and valid business license. Tax Identification Number Certificate and Tax (TRA) Clearance Certificate for the latest year available.

Proof of registration or an approved application for registration with the EWURA Local Supplier Service Provider (LSSP) database at the time of submission of the response to this expression of interest is strongly recommended.

Relevant authorities registration including OSHA, CRB etc.

Compliance with Local Content Regulations, 2017. Previous experience doing similar Services for General Maintenance Services for the past 5 years.

Provide proof of financial capacity and financial statement for the previous financial year Availability of Technical resources (CV and years of experience must be provided)

Confirmation and recommendation letters for Facility Management and Property Maintenance, with integrated scope that covers General Office Repairs and

Maintenance from previously executed projects for the past 5 years in (Plumbing, Electrical, Ac Services, Carpentry, Painting, Masonry).

Companies which have the ability, capacity, and resources to implement the activities listed above should express their interest by sending together with the documents stated in the above section through an email to procurement.tz@eacop.com, (max. email size 20Mb) on or before 17:00 hours East African Time (EAT) on or before 11th June 2023 Email object shall be: REQ-00000234-Provision of General Maintenance Services for EACOP Project. Statements of EOI should be no more than ten (10) to twenty (20) pages long. All Expression of Interests should be submitted in English Language.

 

Note: EACOP LTD wil review and assess the documents provided by companies that have expressed interest in accordance with this EOI and conduct evaluations based on internal criteria to determine which companies will be included in the list of pre- qualified companies. Only the pre-qualified companies wil receive, by signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), an invitation to bid as a continuation of the call for tender process. EACOP LTD reserves the right at its sole discretion to make the decision to select or reject a company and maintain its decision without having to give reasons to the company concerned.
