The Fintech Festival Tanzania is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a groundbreaking event that will bring together the professionals and organizations in Africa’s fintech sector.

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Duration: 1 Year Contract
Start Date: 14th July 2024
Compensation: Salary with competitive commission-based structure

About the Fintech Festival Tanzania
The Fintech Festival Tanzania is a premier event in Africa designed to showcase the latest innovations and trends in financial technology. The festival will connect industry leaders, startups, investors, and regulators to foster collaboration and drive growth not only in Tanzania's but also Africa’s fintech ecosystem.

Responsibilities
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for:
• Actively prospect, pitch, and close sales for partnerships, sponsorships, exhibition space, and related to the Fintech Festival Tanzania
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients
• Creating and delivering compelling sales presentations
• Negotiating and closing sales contracts
• Achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Providing excellent customer service

Requirements
• Has a proven track record of success in sales preferably in events, exhibitions, or related industries.
• Has a deep understanding of the fintech industry (a plus, but not mandatory)
• Has excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Is a highly motivated and results-oriented individual
• Is a team player with a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Swahili is a plus.
