JOB DETAILS:
A Petrol Station located in Vikindu, Mkuranga has opened a new service bay. The service bay offers services related to Wheel Alignment (cars and trucks), Wheel Balance (cars and trucks) and Tyre Change (trucks) among other services like oil change, fixing punctures, greasing, etc. The Station is looking for a Sales Officer. The candidate will work to bring new customers in the segments of cars and trucks. The right candidate will be the one who can work comfortably around Kigamboni, Temeke and Mkuranga Areas.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Come up with new sales strategies to achieve targets.
• Nurture and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Generate sales leads and aggressively work on closing them.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer database.

EXPERIENCE
• At least two-years experience in sales. However, the company is interested in candidates with a go-getter attitude, and an ability to bring in customers.

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Communication skills: Able to communicate with all possible customers for a service station business such as Corporate, Government, Transport companies, etc.
• Persuasion skills: Able to persuade new customers to engage with the business.
• Negotiation skills: Able to negotiate deals with customers.
• Analytical skills: Possessing strong market analytical skills with the ability to analyse market trends, etc.
• Deal closer: Not only able to generate leads, but also to close them.

SALARY
The position offers Tshs 300,000 of basic salary. Please only apply if your salary expectations are in line with what is being offered since the position won’t offer more than that. On top of salary, the position offer 10% commission for each new customer the Sales Officer brings.

INTERVIEWS + HIRING
The position will interview on rolling basis and it will be closed when the right person has been found.
