Job Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Job Summary
We are looking for an Operations Manager with the required skill to oversee,
Manage and support the growth of the business.
• Ensure a happy and productive team through effective people management, conducting reviews and job chats, offering learning and development opportunities and show genuine care for your people.
• Works with the Membership Sales Manager to develop a membership strategy to reach new/potential members and create calendars of events, newsletters and general communication for current ones.
• Drive secondary revenue opportunities to match and supplement treatment revenues including but not limited to retail products, personal training and non - member classes.
• Drive maximum room occupancy and therapist utilization.
• Actively grow revenue and profit lines.
• Ensure a financially successful Spa by working within budgeting guidelines, controlling operating costs and maximizing sales awareness within the team.
• Implement and maintain controls and procedures to ensure the highest standards, efficiencies and professional operations are in place within the spa.
• Maintain Health & Safety and Hygiene of the building.
• Recruiting your team members, (with the HR Manager) recruiting the talent we need, from sourcing people, to conducting interview, trials and inducting people.
• Working closely with the project team you will be required to set the standards of performance and deliver the necessary training for all areas of the spa to ensure a smooth and efficient opening.
• With the project team you will be required to support the Sales and Marketing Plan to generate membership opportunities and to work with the Spa Membership Sales Manager to convert new members based on set targets.
• In conjunction with the General Manager you will be expected to set Key
• Performance Indicators for all department heads to ensure a focused and results driven business from day one.
• To work within guidelines to help bring the project in on budget.
• To support all areas of the operation and to develop relationships with other key hotel based employees and managers to ensure their support moving forward.
• To identify and recommend partners that are contusive to the brand and fit well with the overall concept for The Spa.

Key Competences
• Management skill on hospitality and beauty industry.
• Skill on skin care, hair dressing, men beauty service, massages service and beauty machinery usage skill.
• Background on accounting and HR management.
• High level skill on digital marketing, branding and e-marketing in beauty industry.
• Skill in business strategically planning and manage changes in medium organization.
• High level skill on training others and up skill staff working under her.

Qualifications
• 5 – 10 years’ experience in SPA/ Saloon industry.
• Having a basic understanding of Accounting, budgeting, business financing and marketing.
• Effective people management skills.
• Result-oriented.
• Self-motivated.
• Leadership qualities.
• Good communication skills.

Job Benefits: You will be provided with Work Permit, House and Transport allowance and monthly commission will be given when reaching KPI and targets.
