JOB DETAILS:
POSITION TITTLE: SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER -1 POST

Entry Qualifications
Must be Tanzania Citizen who is a holder of a Bachelor Degree in one of the following fields: Geography, Environmental Science and Management, Environmental Planning and Management, Geography and Environmental Studies or equivalent qualification from any recognized Institutions having work experience of at least Seven (7) years in related field.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• To prepare environmental management plans and budget;
• To supervise environmental research on road maintenance and development works;
• To disseminates environmental awareness issues to stakeholders;
• To update the environmental management procedures to the roads sector;
• To supervise environmental impact assessments for road projects; and
• To perform such other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

GENERAL CONDITIONS.
Successful applicants must be ready to work for considerable length of time in Kagera District where the project is located.

Terms of Service:
1. The Terms of Employment: Specified Contract for 1 year
2. Salary: TANROADS Salary scale with other site allowances as per TANROADS Incentive Policy
