JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for Maintenance of Machines and machine parts during off crop and crushing season.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Carries out maintenance and repairs on River Pump Station (K1 & K2) during crushing season, breakdown and off crop.
• Attend all breakdowns of machines and machine parts during crushing season.
• Monitor the performance of the Irrigation Engineering machines.
• Checks and rectify all running machines faults.
• Effective communication.
• Inspects machine condition and safety before starting up.
• Ensure safety of people and machines.
• Reports defects of machines.
• Attend to any other task as allocated by superiors.
• Ensure all tasks are being performed correctly.
• Ensure the working place is clean at all times.

Job Requirements:
• Form 1V Certificate accompanied with Grade one /Level Three in Fitter Mechanics from a recognized Institution.
• Extensive knowledge in Machinery running behavior, safety and lock out procedures, maintenance and repair on plant machinery.
• 3+ years’ experience working in mechanic jobs.
• Mentally and physically fit.
• Ready to work long hours.

Terms Of Service: The successful candidate will be engaged on Permanent Contract.
