JOB DETAILS:
Main Tasks:
• Assist in overseeing and directing treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing,
forecasting, and insurance regulatory compliance for the company.
• Ensure that the reconcilliation of Balance Sheet & P&L items are done on time before the month
closure.
• Assist in directing the financial function of the Company.
• Working with senior management and related committees.
• Assist in overseeing management of banking and custodial accounts and maintenance of the
Company’s cash balances.
• Directing and supervising development, production, and promotion of department employees.
• Recruit and develop employees in the finance department.
• Prepare and provide reports to Finance Manager as required.
• Maintaining accurate accounting information systems.
• Presenting monthly reports and analysis of operating results including forecasts to senior
management.
• Prepare the Company’s internal and external financial statements on a daily, monthly, quarterly
and yearly basis.
• Planning for and directing all internal and external audits.
• Developing and implementing the company’s annual financial plan.
• Verification of payments.
• Prepare regulatory Returns.
Other Tasks:
• Perform any other accounting and finance related duties as may be assigned to you by your
superiors from time to time.
General Performance Standards:
• Develop ability to work without constant direct supervision.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
• Assist in all areas of Strategies operations as requested by management.
• Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the Strategies
that require attention.
Education including specialized training
• ACPA (T)
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance.
• Studying toward an MBA qualification or MBA qualification will be an added advantage.
Work Experience:
• Five years and above experience in the related field.
• Experience with General Insurance Industry is an added advantage.
