JOB DETAILS:

Responsibilities:
• Report to the Project Manager/Technical Manager.
• Act as a main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, junior staff and Operatives.
• Suggest continues improvement on site operations, ensure discipline is maintained on all aspects, such as timing, efficiency, optimal manpower /material usage with all personnel working under you.
• Adhere to the ISO documentations on all procedures.
• Ensure proper understanding of the project specifications, BOQ and project drawings and installations are done accordingly.
• Set out, level and survey the site.
• Check plans, drawings and ensure loading, cable calculations, equipment’s in project are adequate in capacity, any deviations have to be communicated with the PM/TM with the proposed new requirements.
• Oversee the selection and requisition of material.
• Make cost effective solutions and proposals for the intended project.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and general workforce involve in project.
• Communicate with clients and their representatives including attending regular meetings to keep them informed to progress;
• Day to day management of the site including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and work of any subcontractors.
• Prepare Bi-weekly progress report with manpower allocation chart for review of PM / TM.
• Plan the work and efficiently organize the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
• Oversee quality control and health and safety matters on site.
• Prepare shop drawings / as built drawings as required.
• Pro-active on material requisition and documentation.
• Supports the material quantification with QS.
• Prepare training requests for electricians

Requirements
• Full Time Bachelor engineering degree with recognized University.
• Minimum 3-8 years’ full time work experience in construction industry.
• Experience in Site management; Project management skills; good knowledge of power station equipment such as MV switch gears, Transformers Panels, Generators and related equipment’s will be highly preferred.
• Overhead lines 33kv and 11kv installations.
• Professional registered Engineer with ERB.
