JOB DETAILS:
Job Overview.
This role involves collecting, analyzing and interpreting soil samples, as well as assisting in the development of soil-related projects, use specialized equipment and techniques to measure and analyze soil characteristics such as texture, pH, and mineral content, prepare reports, advise on soil conservation and management strategies and provide technical advice to farmers, land developers and other soil professionals to optimize high yields for the palm oil operation project.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support soil collection: Analyze and evaluate soil sample for agricultural production of palm oil, environmental monitoring and construction.
• Control soil sampling inventory and laboratory sending: Responsible to perform laboratory tests on soil samples.
• Support training process: Responsible to provide training and oversight to local employees in soil ensuring knowledge on soil structure, properties, chemical compensations and the different stages of transformations that soil goes through is well familiarized by local employees.
• Support local supplier’s qualification for implements: Monitor and support qualification of local suppliers ensuring to keep track of palm oil operations.
• Additional Duties: Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required by the organization.

Qualifications:
• Education: Diploma/Bachelor Degree in the related field. Masters will be an added advantage.
• Experience: 4 – 5 years of similar or related work experience, specifically in soil operations (with a focus on palm oil processing).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to use logical or scientific thinking to solve complex problems involving several abstract and concrete variables.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, capable of working effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
