Org. Setting and Reporting
This position is located in the Immediate Office of the Registrar of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT), Arusha Branch. The incumbent will report to the Registrar.

Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in law, preferably with specialisation in criminal law or international law. A first level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.

Work Experience
Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in legal research and in providing specialized legal advice to high ranking officials in an international environment. knowledge of the functioning of the Mechanism and the activities of the Registrar’s Office and of the Registry; experience in dealing with representatives of governments and international organizations; demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive research and analysis and to formulate related briefs or reports and excellent drafting skills.
