Job Description

Responsibilities: –
• Maintain the store neat and tidy
• Prepare purchase order and submit for signature of manager and send to different suppliers
• To receive the materials ordered by the purchase department and supplied by the vendors in a proper manner as per the laid down procedure.
• To ensure the correctness in the quality, quantity, specifications, condition of the materials received from vendors. If find any mistakes or discrepancies should return the indent for rectification.
• To stock the materials received from vendors properly as to ensure easy access identification, verification, handling, maintenance etc.
• To ensure proper stocking of materials by using appropriate location code number wise and category wise and in a way that avoid any damage and loss.
• To ensure a smooth issue of materials to the user department.
• To Carry out periodical physical verification and asses the stock position to ensure accurate accounting of the materials received and issued.
• To ensure proper safety measures are taken for the safety of the store building, materials in the store and the men working in the store.
• To carry out periodical condemnation board for the un-serviceable materials.
• To take action for disposal of scraps materials as per the procedure.
• To maintain all the documents up to data. Enter the bills in the goods inward register.
• Generate reports and submit to concerned manager.
• To attend audit by the auditors.
Requirements
• Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Logistics or supply chain management
• Data entry skills
• Not less than 2 years’ experience as store keeper, warehouse clerk or any related role
• Computer skills
• Attention to details
• Inventory control/ Math skills
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility
